Disney has released a promo video for the upcoming reopening of Disneyland reminding you why Disneyland is such a special place that we have been missing for too long. The park is reopening just to California residents, but the demand for tickets has been huge as you might have expected even though there is some complaints about the high price of the tickets.

Disneyland reopening is a big deal for the Anaheim economy even though its limited attendance and, only California residents allowed its a step towards getting back to normal for the tourist industry in the Anaheim area. Hopefully some time soon we will see again the crowds of people walking back and, forth from Harbor and Katella down to the Disneyland entrance.
In great news for Disneyland Resort fans comes the announcement that tickets for Disneyland and, the California Adventure theme parks will go on sale April 15th. You will need a ticket as well as a theme park reservation for the same park to enter on that day.
These tickets are going to sell out quickly because of all the pent up demand with reservations limited and, subject to availability. Availability can change until your park reservation is finalized. To purchase tickets you must have a Disney account linked and, in groups no larger than 3 per household and sorry to people from out of state that want to visit this is for California residents only.
DIsney said they may also release tickets to certain dates with them being released on a rolling basis. To make your park reservation go toDisneyland.com a Disney account as mentioned before is required to make a purchase.
Finally a little good news for Anaheim and, the hard hit Anaheim tourist industry with an announcement that the Disneyland resort plans to reopen April 30th. The announcement means that Disneyland will also open that date after closing for over a year.
Demand is likely to be extremely high for tickets when the part reopens especially since there will be limited capacity requirements as you might expect. Disney has announced that over 10,000 cast members are getting ready to return to work, which is great for them as well as the struggling economy because of the pandemic.
The recent closing of Ruby’s Diners location on the Huntington Beach pier as well as a location in Oceanside people are wondering if the other locations are going to remain open.
A spokesperson for the company has said all locations that are open now will remain open which is good news for the legions of Ruby’s Diner fans who love the good burgers, fries and shakes.
The company started in 1982 in the original location on the Balboa pier and, now has numerous locations across Orange County.The restaurant chain also has locations outside Orange County such as the Citadel in Commerce in Carlsbad in San Diego County as well as at airports such as in Las Vegas.
It seems for the moment the future for Ruby’s is safe including at the Anaheim location on West Lincoln. All this about Ruby’s Diner is making me hungry i will have to visit one soon.
The vaccine center in Disneyland at their parking lot was closed last week because of lack of vaccine but is due to reopen today. Because of the storms across the country the supply of vaccine ran out but hopefully it will open again today.
The Disneyland site is using the Pfizer vaccine and, the new Super Site at the Anaheim Convention Center is going to use the Moderna vaccine if it opens as scheduled this Wednesday.
The Anaheim Convention Center has been announced as the 4th Super Site for vaccines. The planned opening date is scheduled for next Wednesday although that is likely to be delayed because of the shortage of vaccine at the moment due to the bad weather back East.
This is the 4 th of 5 planned Super Sites in Orange County with the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa discussed as the fifth possible site. The Anaheim Convention Center location when it does open is going to distribute the Moderna vaccine while the Disneyland location when it reopens will distribute the Pfizer vaccine.
Anaheim and Santa Ana as well densely populated cities have been especially hard hit by COVID-19 so a 2nd Anaheim site will help getting people vaccinated in that area.
