The current spike of COVID-19 cases during Thanksgiving and the Governor’s new stay at home order means the reopening of Disneyland and the California Adventure theme parks is a long way off.
In recent days their has been good news about vaccines but even with that news before it would make a big enough difference for tourists to return could be next summer or fall.
Disney officials had been pushing for the reopening of the theme parks but at the moment things are heading in the other direction. This is bad news for Disney as well as it’s cast members and local businesses in Anaheim that are supported by tourists and conventioneers.
Hopefully in the new year things look more positive but for the moment the Winter months will be tough for Orange County, Disney Resorts and the City Of Anaheim.
